Massimiliano Silenzi is an entrepreneur, payments executive and researcher working at the intersection of marketing and payments. He first led Onebip, then founded CryptoRefills in 2018, combining international operating experience with empirical research on payment behavior. He holds a PhD in Finance and Management Sciences and an MSc in Marketing Management.

CryptoRefills is a global crypto-commerce platform operating since 2018 across more than 180 countries. It enables consumers to purchase everyday digital goods using cryptocurrency and conducts empirical research through CryptoRefills Labs on real-world crypto payment behavior, drawing on large-scale transaction-level merchant data.
